Role Overview
As the Head of Talent Management, you will lead the strategic and tactical efforts to improve organizational design and effectiveness. You will be responsible for overseeing talent management, performance systems, rewards, and succession planning. In this role, you will partner with senior leadership to develop and execute strategies that build leadership capacity and ensure the workforce is prepared for future challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead organizational design, strategic workforce planning, and the use of competency frameworks.
- Manage performance management, remuneration, rewards, and recognition programs.
- Design and implement talent and leadership development systems aligned with business goals.
- Partner with People Management leadership to plan and execute long-term leadership strategies.
- Oversee data metrics and reporting to track the success of talent initiatives.
- Ensure all talent processes are integrated and support the overall business strategy.
Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human or Social Sciences (e.g., Psychology) or a Business degree specializing in Organizational Development. A Post-graduate qualification is preferred.
- Experience: 10 to 12 years of experience in Organizational Transformation within a large, complex organization.
- Leadership: At least 5 years of experience at a senior management level.
- Compliance: Must meet the requirements for trust and honesty in handling finances as per the National Credit Act and undergo a Lifestyle Audit.
- Travel & Licensing: A valid Code 8 driver’s license and a willingness to travel as required by the business.
