Role Introduction

We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist Assistant to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care. In this role, you will perform daily dispensary administration and ensure all tasks align with the company’s Standard Operating Plans (SOPs) and your professional scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and patient care.
• Manage stock control and administration efficiently, including the repacking of medicine.
• Handle dispensary administration accurately.
• Perform accurate compounding of medications.
• Offer general health advice to customers.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and merchandise display.
• Assist with additional operational tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Matric with Mathematics (Essential).
• Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Qualified, Post Basic, or Learner Basic Pharmacist Assistant.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong product knowledge (Health aisle and Over-the-Counter).
• Understanding of SAPC regulations and relevant legal requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and IT business operating systems.
• Ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
• Commitment to ethical working practices and compliance.
