Job Opportunity: General Assistant – BUCO Butterworth
The Building Company is a leading building materials division of Pepkor, operating across Southern Africa. With over 170 stores in South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, and Botswana, we are committed to providing quality service and products to our customers. We are currently seeking a motivated General Assistant to join our team at the BUCO Butterworth branch.
Role Overview
This is a full-time position that focuses on logistics, yard maintenance, and customer service. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our branch runs smoothly and that our customers receive their orders efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with their orders and provide excellent service.
- Help with the loading and offloading of delivery vehicles.
- Organize and pack stock items in the yard area.
- Clean and ensure the safekeeping of company vehicles.
- Provide general assistance to both customers and suppliers.
- Perform wash bay duties to keep equipment and vehicles in good condition.
- Uphold and promote the company’s values and professional culture.
Job Requirements
- A valid Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Basic knowledge of building products and materials.
- A hardworking and helpful attitude.
