Job Purpose
As an Administrative Officer for Public Transport Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring that transport operations in the Waterberg District are safe, legal, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate reports of illegal public transport operations.
- Inspect subsidized contract agreements and verify general permits.
- Monitor bus routes and ensure adherence to timetables.
- Conduct regular inspections of bus and taxi routes.
- Oversee and monitor scholar transport services and animal-drawn carts.
Job Requirements
- Education: An undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6) in Transport Planning, Transport Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Transport Economics, or Transport Operations.
- Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in the transport field or a related industry.
- License: A valid driver’s license (this requirement is waived for persons with disabilities).
