Role Overview
We are seeking a professional Administration Officer to join our Security Services division. This role involves providing essential administrative support and ensuring that security operations at our head office and district branches run smoothly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and functional support to the security services unit.
- Monitor the performance of security officers at access control points, parking areas, and district offices.
- Ensure all security measures and protocols are properly implemented.
- Oversee the effectiveness of physical and electronic surveillance systems.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all security services.
Requirements
- A recognized undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6).
- A qualification in Public Administration or Security Management will be considered an advantage.
- At least two (2) years of experience in a security-related or administrative field.
- A valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).
Knowledge and Skills
- Technical Skills: Computer literacy, report writing, and knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
- Organization: Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional approach.
- Personal Attributes: A team player who is accurate, patient, and a good problem-solver.
