Job Purpose
The Administrative Officer for Disability Assistance will focus on providing essential sign language services and administrative support. The role involves advocating for disability rights and supporting departmental awareness campaigns and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized sign language services for the Department.
- Offer comprehensive disability support and administrative services.
- Coordinate and support disability awareness campaigns and commemorative events.
- Assist with departmental training initiatives related to disability services.
Job Requirements
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6) or equivalent as recognized by SAQA.
- A qualification in Public Administration will be considered an added advantage.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a related field.
- A valid driver’s license (this requirement is waived for persons with disabilities).

- Strong time management and conflict resolution skills.
