The Opportunity

We are looking for unemployed residents of Mbombela to join our team as Casual General Workers. In this role, you will assist with various warehouse and delivery tasks on an as-needed basis. This position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, short-term work opportunities.

Your Responsibilities

When called in for duty, your tasks may include:

• Packing and organizing stock in the warehouse.
• Loading and offloading delivery trucks (must be able to lift bags weighing up to 40kg).
• Assisting drivers with delivery paperwork and route navigation.
• Accompanying drivers on delivery trips, which may include travel to distant locations.
• Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse and surrounding work areas.

Conditions of Employment

• Temporary Nature: Work is assigned based on business needs. There are no guaranteed hours or a fixed schedule.
• Payment: You will be paid for the actual hours worked.
• No Permanent Contract: This is a casual role and does not lead to permanent employment.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
• Must currently live in Mbombela and be able to report for work on short notice.
• Must be currently unemployed.
• A valid Code 10 (C1) license with a PrDP is a major advantage.
• Previous experience in warehousing, stock management, or the FMCG industry is beneficial.
