Role Purpose

We are looking for motivated Shop Assistants and Cashiers to join our Ravenswood team. The main goal of this role is to provide excellent customer service, manage point-of-sale (POS) activities efficiently, and ensure the store is well-stocked and inviting for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Process payments and handle cash securely.
• Promote the Clicks ClubCard program and assist customers with loyalty rewards.
• Inform customers about current promotions and special offers to drive sales.
• Act as a brand ambassador by providing friendly, professional, and visible service.
• Perform merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Stay updated on product knowledge and store events to provide accurate information to shoppers.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Essential: Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
• Desirable: Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment.
• Desirable: A minimum of 50% in English and Mathematics at the Grade 12 level.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Basic computer literacy and numeracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to solve problems and organize daily tasks.
• An understanding of retail principles, such as merchandising and stock management.
