Pharmacist Assistant (Qualified Post-Basic) – Clicks Langebaan

Role Purpose
We are looking for a dedicated Pharmacist Assistant (QPB) to join our team in Langebaan. In this role, you will provide professional pharmaceutical care and manage daily dispensary administration. Your main goal will be to process prescriptions accurately and ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with customers professionally while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Capture and process prescriptions accurately within agreed timelines.
- Manage patient profiles and handle chronic medication authorizations.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals and other departments to resolve queries.
- Support the dispensary team with general administrative duties and ad hoc tasks.
Knowledge and Skills
- Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Strong understanding of OTC products and pharmacy legislation (SAPC).
- Customer Service: A friendly, patient-focused approach with a positive attitude.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and pharmacy software.
- Communication: Fluent in English and at least one other local language.
- Professionalism: High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Teamwork: A reliable team player who can also use their own initiative.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: A Further Education and Training Certificate: Pharmacist Assistance (Essential).
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant role.
