Clinical Case Manager

Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- A Diploma or Degree in General Nursing accredited with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Current registration with SANC as a Professional Nurse and Midwife.
- Minimum of four (4) years of appropriate experience in nursing after registering as a Professional Nurse.
- A post-basic nursing qualification (at least 1 year long) in ICU or Critical Care Science will be an added advantage.
Core Skills and Competencies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
- Proven supervisory and teaching abilities.
- Knowledge of the Uniform Patient Fees Schedule (UPFS).
- Understanding of the Medical Schemes Act, including the Chronic Disease List (CDL) and Prescribed Minimum Benefit (PMB) legislation.
- Experience with ICD-10 coding and the ability to link patient diagnoses with procedure codes is preferred.
