Assistant Storeman – GWK Retail (Luckhoff)
The VKB Group is a modern and dynamic agricultural enterprise with a 100-year history of providing innovative solutions to the farming community. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Storeman to join our team at GWK Retail in Luckhoff, Free State.
Role Overview
The Assistant Storeman is responsible for managing stock within our warehouses and yard. The primary focus is to ensure that all loading and offloading is handled accurately while maintaining high standards of organization and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the loading and offloading of stock in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain accurate stock control and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO).
- Conduct daily inspections to ensure the premises are neat, tidy, and meet VKB Group standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with the marketing of agricultural commodities.
- Handle various ad-hoc duties related to warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or NQF 4 qualification.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is highly recommended.
- A strong commitment to housekeeping and accurate stock management.
- A positive attitude toward continuous learning and training.

- The ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and conflict-management abilities.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
