Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate.
- National Diploma (NQF 6) or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF 7) in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Public Management or an equivalent qualification – advantage.
- Experience working in a public hospital environment – advantage.
- Knowledge of procurement policies and processes (PPPFA, PFMA, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, attend to detail and ensure data accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
- Prepared to work overtime when required to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties
- Issue stock to internal requisitions and update tally cards for VA10, VA4, VA5, VA8 and VA9 transactions.
- Prepare monthly Cost Centre reports for budget meetings.
- Conduct sample stock takes and stock control as per regulations.
- Ensure prompt stock replenishment according to minimum and maximum levels and compile monthly stock reconciliation.
- Perform monthly spot checks to rectify discrepancies.
- Compile monthly inventory statistics.
- Handle end‑user queries and report progress.
- Support the cycle and transit office with receiving, verification and capture of GRN/GRV on SAP/SRM.
- Prepare VA10 for stock replenishment.
- Respond to departmental queries and provide relevant reports.

- Respond to end‑user queries and report progress.
- Conduct periodic stock taking and ensure sufficient warehouse stock.
- Compile and submit reports and support the warehouse with queries.
