The City of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality is the local government for the East Rand region of Gauteng. We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Admin Officer to join our Technical Planning and Implementation Division.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A Diploma in Finance, Public Management, or Business Management.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar administrative or financial environment.

Core Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of the division. Key duties include:

  • Providing effective administrative and financial support to the Technical Planning and Implementation Division.
  • Processing payment certificates and invoices accurately.
  • Monitoring and managing both capital and operational budgets.
  • Preparing monthly financial statements and reporting on expenditure.
  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly by managing stationery, cleaning supplies, and general building maintenance.
  • Coordinating staff training and assisting with general human resources tasks.
