Job Opportunity: Administration Clerk (Production)
The South African Department of Defence (DOD) is composed of several branches, including the SA Army, SA Air Force, SA Navy, and SA Military Health Service. Our divisions manage vital functions such as Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, and Finance. We are currently looking for a dedicated individual to join our team in the Western Cape as an Administration Clerk.

Requirements
- A minimum of Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
- No previous experience is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide high-level clerical support to the Provisioning Administration and Logistics teams. Your main tasks will include:
- Inventory & Warehouse Management: Assisting with the storage, maintenance, and preservation of military items. You will help ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and secure.
- Data & Record Keeping: Maintaining up-to-date registers for all stock received and issued. You will also assist in updating provisioning data and printing necessary documentation.
- Supply Chain Support: Following up on outstanding supply demands, assisting with purchasing processes, and helping with the safe disposal of items.
- Stocktaking: Participating in regular stock counts and providing feedback on stock levels and statistics.
- Operational Readiness: Helping to evaluate and determine the requirements needed to keep the Base or specific sections ready for operation.
