About the Role
The Administration Clerk supports the Admin department by filing, data entry, and general clerical tasks. You will help keep records organized, manage claims, and assist with daily office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review claims from external providers for fraud.
- Provide general administrative support as requested.
- Sign for deliveries and notify recipients.
- Answer telephone calls and direct queries appropriately.
- Assist with tracing records and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- File and post documents, maintain file records, and update archive lists.
- Sign for any requested or removed files.
Requirements
Education
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 (required).
- Previous administrative experience is a plus.
- Computer literate in MS Office.
Experience
- 1–2 years in an administrative role (required).
Physical & Working Conditions
- Professional flexibility in working hours, including weekends and night shifts if needed.
- Interaction with internal and external customers via phone, email, and in person.
