About the Department

The Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness is responsible for providing essential public healthcare services to the people of the Western Cape province. We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Officer to join our Information Management team.

Key Requirements

  • A Senior Certificate (or equivalent qualification).
  • Relevant experience in Information Management within a healthcare environment.
  • A valid driver’s license (Code B, EB, or C1).

Skills and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and knowledge:

  • System Knowledge: Experience with Health Information Systems such as Sinjani, PHCIS, Ideal Clinic Monitoring System, and DHIS.
  • Computer Literacy: Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Attention to Detail: A logical thinker who provides accurate and reliable data.
  • Work Ethic: The ability to handle pressure and meet strict deadlines while maintaining high standards.

Role Responsibilities
