Requirements
To be considered for this apprenticeship, applicants must meet one of the following educational criteria:
- A minimum of an NTC 3 technical qualification (including Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, Engineering Science, and Industrial Electronics) plus a Matric certificate.
- OR a Technical Matric (Grade 12) with passes in English, Electrical Trade Theory, Mathematics, and Physical Science.
- OR a full NCV 4 Electrical qualification (with 7 subjects).
Additional Criteria:
- A genuine passion for the electrical field.
- Must currently reside within the City of Cape Town municipality.
- A valid driver’s license is recommended (preferably Code C1/old Code 10).
- Applicants must not have already qualified in any trade.
- Applicants must not hold a National S Diploma or any higher qualification.
