About the Role
Multifranchise Menlyn is looking for an Apprentice Level 2 to join our Service team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on motor vehicles and wants to become a qualified Motor Mechanic Technician. The successful candidate will undergo our Apprentice Training Programme and report directly to the Service Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with vehicle repairs under the guidance of a Technician.
- Remove and replace parts and units on vehicles.
- Jack up vehicles and secure them on trestles.
- Lubricate and change oils according to the service manual.
- Remove and fit wheels, air filters, and oil filters.
- Assist with battery removal and installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Attend required technical and level courses.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Apprentice Level 1 qualification.
- Valid driver’s licence is an advantage.
- Clear criminal record.
- Technical skills are a plus.
- Strong customer orientation and teamwork abilities.
