Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Artisan Aid (Diesel Mechanic) to join our team in Limpopo. In this role, you will provide essential support to our Artisans to ensure that equipment is maintained to the highest standards and that operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Artisans with the installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Identify mechanical faults and report them promptly to the Artisan.
- Provide daily reports on section performance and progress.
- Help conduct section inspections and routine maintenance observations.
- Support both scheduled and unscheduled daily maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- Full N2 certificate, including relevant trade theory.
- A valid Artisan Aider certificate.
- Previous experience working as an Artisan Aid within a mining or plant environment.
- Must be declared medically fit to work in both surface and underground environments.
