Key Responsibilities
As an Artisan, you will be responsible for the following:
- Performing technical maintenance and repair tasks within your assigned area.
- Managing administrative duties related to the technical department.
- Identifying and reducing technical risks to ensure a safe environment.
- Coordinating and supervising work performed by external contractors on-site.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
Education and Certification:
- A valid Matric certificate.
- An appropriate Trade Test certificate (Essential).
- A valid driver’s licence.
- Registration with SAQCC-Gas (Required for South African air-conditioning artisans).
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an artisan (Fitter, Turner, Millwright, or Air-conditioning).
- Must be multi-skilled within the technical field.
- Experience working in a private hospital environment or with Mediclinic is highly preferred.
