Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Artisan Assistant to join our technical team. In this role, you will support our engineering department by maintaining plant systems, assisting with upgrades, and ensuring production runs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and assist with troubleshooting.
• Participate in on-the-job training to develop technical skills.
• Assist with plant and system upgrades.
• Perform regular system maintenance to prevent downtime.
• Attend to equipment breakdowns promptly to ensure production continuity.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• N3 or an equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience working in a production factory environment.
• 2 years of experience as an Artisan Assistant with strong mechanical skills is highly preferred.
