Position Overview

We are looking for a qualified Artisan Electro Mechanic to join our team in Steelpoort, Limpopo. This is a full-time role focused on maintaining, repairing, and optimizing specialized diesel machinery and electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repair: Service and maintain diesel machinery, vehicles, and equipment. This includes diagnosing faults, performing repairs, and testing functionality to ensure everything works correctly.
  • Breakdown Support: Respond to call-outs and handle emergency repairs. You will identify root causes of equipment failure and implement quick, effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Follow a scheduled maintenance plan to prevent equipment failure. Perform regular inspections and operational tests.
  • Parts Management: Monitor stock levels of spare parts. Request new supplies when needed and ensure all inventory records are accurate.
  • Technical Investigations: Inspect equipment for defects and provide recommendations for technical improvements. Complete detailed investigation reports as required.
  • Process Improvement: Ensure all work follows company business processes and look for ways to improve system efficiency.

Requirements

  • Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science.
  • Certification: A valid Electro Mechanic Trade Test Certificate.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience as an Electro Mechanic and 2 years of experience as an artisan electrician working on specialized machinery.
  • Driver’s License: A valid vehicle driver’s license is essential.
