Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Artisan Instrumentation Gr 2 to join our team in Secunda. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing instrumentation systems while ensuring all operations meet safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Planning: Carry out daily operational plans, monitor progress against targets, and report performance to stakeholders.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Identify and fix faults in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly after repairs.
- Installation & Calibration: Use technical drawings and specifications to install, align, and calibrate instrumentation equipment accurately.
- Testing & Inspection: Conduct regular technical inspections and tests. Evaluate results to identify risks and implement effective solutions.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain high Health, Safety, and Environmental (SHE) standards. Ensure all work follows company policies and legal requirements.
- Financial Management: Manage expenses within the assigned budget and review financial reports to identify and fix any spending issues.
- Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and external partners.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification.
- A valid Instrumentation Trade Test Certificate.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- BTech in Instrumentation or a similar technical field.
