Role Overview
As an Artisan Millwright, you will be responsible for the electromechanical maintenance and repair of equipment within our production department. You will work closely with the Production Maintenance team to ensure our machinery runs smoothly and efficiently every day.

What You Will Do
- Assemble, install, and maintain all mechanical and electrical equipment in your area.
- Perform routine repairs to ensure plant equipment remains reliable.
- Find and fix faults in machinery to minimize downtime.
- Analyze equipment failures to find the root cause and prevent them from happening again.
- Optimize machines and suggest ways to improve production processes.
- Support the maintenance and production teams with technical expertise.
- Complete job cards and keep detailed maintenance records.
- Ensure all process control software is backed up and updated.
Requirements
- Certification: Must be a Trade Tested Millwright.
- Education: N Levels in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a National Diploma in Engineering.
- Industry Experience: At least 3 years of technical experience in a food manufacturing plant.
- Specialized Skills: Hands-on experience with Tetra Pak machinery is essential.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in high-speed packaging machinery, PLC, SCADA, pneumatics, and electrical controls.
- Tools: Must possess your own toolbox.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and be on standby when required.
- Physical Ability: Comfortable working in confined spaces.
