Role Overview
The successful candidate will report to the Artisan Coordinator and Senior Artisan. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of underground trackless mobile machinery (TMM), ensuring all work is done safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and strictly adhere to the Mine Health and Safety Act standards.
- Perform breakdown repairs and planned maintenance on Nkangala Bolters and various Drill Rigs (including Sandvik DD210L and Exera XLP 126).
- Analyze and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics for trackless mobile machinery.
- Repair and maintain both mechanical and electrical components of drilling equipment.
- Ensure all SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) and MM (Materials Management) requirements are met.
- Complete all assignments accurately and on time to support operational goals.
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
- Relevant Millwright Trade Test certificate.
- Proven experience with underground trackless mobile machinery (TMM).
- Strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- A result-driven mindset with a focus on safety and precision.
