Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- An appropriate Trade Test Certificate in Painting.
- A valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities
Production and Design
- Create designs based on client specifications and equipment capabilities.
- Produce high-quality work using materials and tools according to industry standards.
- Perform quality checks on all completed projects.
Maintenance and Repairs
- Inspect facilities and equipment to identify any technical faults.
- Repair equipment and facilities to meet required safety and quality standards.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure it is functioning correctly.
- Maintain and service tools to keep them in good working condition.
Administration and Supervision
- Maintain accurate records and registers of all repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Prepare and submit detailed work reports.
- Provide input for operational planning and budgeting.
- Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and procedures in the painting industry.
