Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A Grade 12 certificate and an NQF Level 6 qualification in Office Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role (Salary Level 7/8) within an Office Administration and Financial Management environment.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Knowledge and Skills

The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • Policy Knowledge: A strong understanding of government policies, Treasury Regulations, the Public Service Act, and Public Service Regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, budgeting, financial management, and project management.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and facilitate effectively.
  • Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with different stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving: Analytical thinking with the ability to make sound decisions and work under pressure.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work independently while also being a productive member of a team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee administrative operations for the Health Financing and NHI unit.
  • Ensure compliance with all departmental and financial policies.
  • Manage budgets and financial reporting according to Treasury guidelines.
  • Coordinate projects and liaise with various departments to ensure smooth operations.
