Role Overview

We are seeking a professional and creative individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Audio Visual Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing high-quality visual content that supports the communication efforts of the Premier’s Office and the Provincial Government.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualification: A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Videography, TV/Video Production, Film Production, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience in a video production environment.

Key Competencies and Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of audio-visual equipment and professional editing software.
  • Practical understanding of multimedia platforms and copyright laws.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Services: Provide professional photography and video services for the Premier’s Office and various Provincial Government activities.
  • Post-Production: Use high-tech software to edit recorded content, ensuring a polished and professional final product.
  • Creative Development: Create and execute visual concepts that effectively communicate government messages to the public.
  • Archive Management: Develop and maintain an organized audio-visual archive for future reference and use.
  • Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks related to audio-visual projects and production workflows.
