Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • An appropriate undergraduate Degree or National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Industrial Psychology, Management Services, Human Resource Management, Public Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a supervisory role specifically within change management, organizational development, or a Human Resources environment.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead various initiatives to improve departmental efficiency and culture. Main duties include:

Change Management and Culture

  • Creating and implementing change management strategies and plans for departmental projects.
  • Developing strategies to improve organizational culture, including conducting climate surveys and building effective teams.
  • Integrating change management activities into overall project plans.

Service Delivery and Operations

  • Overseeing the Operation Management Framework and monitoring organizational functionality projects.
  • Promoting and implementing “Batho Pele” principles to ensure a people-first approach to service.
  • Developing the department’s Service Delivery Improvement Plan, Service Delivery Model, and Service Charter.

Process Improvement

  • Mapping all departmental processes and compiling Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency.

Resource Management

  • Managing the unit’s human and financial resources.
  • Providing general support services and oversight for the assigned component.
