Job Purpose
We are seeking a professional Assistant Director for Evaluation and Analytics to help us improve healthcare delivery through data-driven insights. In this role, you will analyze health trends, evaluate program success, and provide the evidence needed to make informed decisions for the department.
Requirements
- Education: A National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Economics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Social Sciences, or Public Health.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in research, data analysis, or program evaluation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in statistical software such as STATA, SPSS, R, or Advanced Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Analyze health trends and performance data to guide departmental decision-making.
- Evaluation Studies: Coordinate internal evaluations for health programs, focusing on areas like patient satisfaction, waiting times, and overall program impact.
- Research Support: Manage the Department’s research agenda and assist with ethical approval processes.
- Data Visualization: Create clear dashboards and infographics to present complex data to management.
- Impact Assessment: Help assess the effectiveness of specific health interventions and initiatives.
