Job Overview
We are seeking a professional Assistant Director for Facilities Management to oversee and maintain our department’s infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that our facilities support a high-quality learning environment.
Minimum Requirements
- A relevant NQF level 6 qualification as recognized by SAQA.
- At least five (5) years of experience in facilities management or a related field.
- At least three (3) of those years must be at a supervisory or lower management level (Level 7 or 8).
- A valid driver’s license (except for applicants with disabilities).
Knowledge and Skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of Public Service legislation, policies, and financial frameworks.
- Strong skills in human resource and financial management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proven ability in planning, organizing, and analytical thinking.
- Confident presentation skills and the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Functional computer literacy.
