Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • A recognized NQF Level 6 or 7 qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Management, or an equivalent field.
  • A minimum of 3 to 4 years of relevant experience.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Key Responsibilities

HR Provisioning and Administration

  • Coordinate recruitment and selection processes.
  • Monitor staff transfers and verify qualifications.
  • Ensure all HR administration follows departmental and public service policies.
  • Prepare and consolidate reports regarding personnel and respond to Auditor General queries.

Records Management

  • Oversee the registry and filing systems to ensure efficient record-keeping.
  • Manage the process of archiving and disposing of documents according to regulations.

Operational Management

  • Supervise and train staff within the unit.
  • Manage performance, work allocation, and departmental assets.
  • Oversee attendance, leave management, and disciplinary matters.
  • Support employee health and wellness (EHW) initiatives.
