Job Overview

The Limpopo Department of Education is seeking professional and experienced individuals to fill three Assistant Director positions. These roles focus on Human Resource Development (HRD) and the Performance Management System (PMS), ensuring our staff are well-trained and their performance is effectively managed to meet departmental goals.

Requirements

  • A recognized NQF Level 6 qualification (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
  • A qualification in Human Resources Management or Human Resource Development is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in a related field.
  • At least three (3) years of experience must be at a supervisory or lower management level (Level 7 or 8).
  • A valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).

Knowledge and Skills

  • Deep understanding of Public Service legislation, policies, and regulations.
  • Strong human resource and financial management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability in planning, organization, and professional presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Functional computer literacy.
