Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of supervisory experience in Human Resource Administration or office management.
- Strong knowledge of the Public Service Act, Employment of Educators Act, and the Labour Relations Act.
- The ability to understand and apply official policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director, your duties will include:
- Records Management: Setting up and maintaining efficient record-keeping and document management systems for the Regional Office.
- HR Administration: Providing essential human resource services, including staff development and employee wellness programs.
- Policy Guidance: Offering professional advice and input on department policies.
- Resource Management: Managing physical, financial, and human resources within the Regional Office.
- Reporting and Coordination: Tracking decisions and submissions, following up on progress reports, and preparing presentations for regional forums.
