Position Purpose

The Limpopo Department of Education is looking for a qualified professional to join our team. Our mission is to provide innovative, high-quality education across all grades. As the Assistant Director for Human Resource Management, you will play a key role in managing employee conditions of service and supporting our departmental goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • A recognized NQF level 6 qualification.
  • A degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or Public Management is preferred.
  • At least five years of experience in the field, including three years at a supervisory level (Level 7 or 8).
  • A compulsory certificate or proof of introductory PERSAL training.
  • A valid driver’s license (except for persons with disabilities).

  • Legislation: Strong understanding of Public Service laws, policies, and regulations.
  • Management: Proven ability to lead teams and manage financial resources.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across different departments.

  • Technology: Fully computer literate with a focus on functional office tools.
