Job Overview
In this role, you will oversee human resource provisioning activities, ensuring that our department is staffed effectively and operates in compliance with public service regulations. You will lead a team, manage departmental resources, and help maintain high standards of administrative quality.
Requirements
- Education: A recognized NQF level 6 qualification (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Qualifications specializing in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or Public Management are highly preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the HR field. At least three (3) of those years must be at a supervisory or lower management level (Level 7 or 8).
- Technical Certification: You must provide a certificate or proof of results for introductory PERSAL training.
- Driver’s License: A valid vehicle driver’s license is required (except for applicants with disabilities).
Knowledge and Skills
- Deep understanding of Public Service legislation, policies, and frameworks.
- Strong skills in financial and human resource management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.
- Highly organized with strong planning and analytical abilities.
- Proficient in standard computer applications.
- Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
