Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A recognized Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Law (NQF Level 7).
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in legal research, legal drafting, and legal practice.
- Professional Standing: Being an admitted attorney or advocate is an added advantage.
- Key Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Constitution, the Public Service Act, the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), and other relevant government regulations and supply chain management rules.
Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Director of Legal Support, your main duties will include:
- Conducting detailed legal research to support department decisions.
- Drafting professional legal opinions and providing legal support services.
- Managing legal administration tasks and providing general office support.
