Job Overview
As an Assistant Director, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing project operations within the school nutrition sector. This role requires a blend of leadership, financial management, and organizational skills to ensure the program’s success.
Key Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6) recognized by SAQA.
- Experience: At least five (5) years of relevant experience, with a minimum of three (3) years at a supervisory or lower management level (Level 7/8).
- Licensing: A valid driver’s license (this requirement is waived for applicants with disabilities).
- Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of Public Service laws, policies, and financial regulations.
Skills and Competencies
- Management: Proven ability to manage both human and financial resources effectively.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate with different teams.
- Organization: Strong analytical, planning, and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
