Job Overview

Educational Requirements
- A National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Information and Communication Technology or a related field recognized by SAQA.
Experience and Skills
- At least three years of experience in system development or a related ICT field.
- Proficiency in computer systems and data analysis.
- Strong leadership and management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strategic and analytical thinking with a focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under high-pressure conditions.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive.
Knowledge Requirements
- Understanding of natural resource regulations.
- Knowledge of the National Forests Act and the National Environmental Management Act (NEMA).
- Familiarity with environmental policies affecting the forestry sector.
- Understanding of government administrative procedures, including the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and treasury regulations.
Assessment Process
All shortlisted candidates will be required to undergo two pre-entry assessments:
- A practical exercise to test technical and generic skills relevant to the post.
- An integrity assessment to evaluate ethical conduct.
