The Mpumalanga Office of the Premier is dedicated to improving provincial planning, monitoring performance, and coordinating government policies. We are seeking a professional and dedicated individual to join our team as an Assistant Director for Organisational Risk and Ethics Management.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Education: A National Diploma (NQF level 6) in Internal Audit, Risk Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: At least three (3) years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Auditing, or Financial Management.
- Training: Completion of an Ethics in the Public Service course or certificate is required.
Key Competencies
Candidates should have a strong understanding of the following:
- Public Sector Risk Management Framework.
- COSO Framework and King IV on Risk Management.
- Chapter 2 of the Public Service Regulations, 2016.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Implementing risk management and ethics policies and strategies within the Office of the Premier.
- Conducting regular risk assessments and reviews.
- Keeping risk registers up to date.
- Monitoring the progress of risk mitigation and management efforts.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of the Ethics and Risk Management Plan, including fraud prevention strategies.
- Providing secretarial support to the Ethics and Risk Management Committee.
