Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Assistant Director: Revenue Management. The successful candidate will oversee revenue operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and maintaining accurate accounting records.

Requirements

  • Education: A relevant tertiary qualification in Financial Management (NQF level 7).
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Revenue Management, including at least 3 years at a supervisory level.
  • Technical Skills: Practical knowledge of Accrual Accounting and proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel). Extensive experience with SAP software is essential.
  • Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with Treasury Regulations, the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), GAAP/GRAP, DORA, and the Public Service Act.
  • Additional Assets: A valid, unexpired driver’s license is required.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong report-writing abilities.
  • Competencies: Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and effective problem-solving capabilities.

The candidate will be responsible for supervising revenue management tasks, ensuring all financial activities align with government standards, and providing strategic support to the finance department.
