Role Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Assistant Director for Strategic Planning. In this role, you will support the department’s planning processes, ensure data accuracy, and help coordinate essential performance reports.
Requirements
- A National Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or 7) in Public Administration, Management, Strategic Planning, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in strategic planning or a high-level administrative environment.
- Advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning Support: Assist in drafting and organizing the Annual Performance Plan (APP) and various Operational Plans.
- Data Management: Collect and combine information from different branches and districts to help build the Strategic Plan.
- Secretariat Services: Provide administrative and meeting support during strategic planning sessions and review meetings.
- Quality Control: Review planning documents to ensure they follow correct templates and meet technical standards.
- Performance Reporting: Help prepare quarterly and annual reports to track the department’s progress.
