Role Purpose
We are looking for an Assistant Director to join our Strategic Support and Performance Management team. This role is essential for ensuring that our performance data is accurate, well-documented, and reported effectively to government oversight bodies.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Verification: Check quarterly performance data submitted by program managers to ensure it is complete and accurate.
- Evidence Management: Organize and archive the Portfolio of Evidence (POE) for all reported performance indicators.
- Report Compilation: Prepare draft Quarterly Performance Reports (QPR) for submission to the Treasury and the Premier’s Office.
- Quality Control: Provide clear feedback to managers regarding any missing data or poor-quality evidence.
- Strategic Support: Assist in the development of Technical Indicator Descriptions (TIDs) to help define how performance is measured.
Requirements
- A National Diploma or Degree (NQF 6/7) in Public Administration, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), or Information Management.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in performance monitoring or strategic support.
