Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following educational and experience criteria:
- Education: A three-year National Diploma (NQF6) or a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF7) in Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Public Administration, Accounting, or Economics.
- Experience: At least four (4) years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
- Supervisory Experience: Of the four years required, at least two (2) years must be at a supervisory or Senior Officer level.
Key Knowledge Areas
Applicants should have a strong understanding of:
- Public Service management and transformation policies.
- Public Service Regulations and the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
- Departmental procedures and “Batho Pele” principles.
- Labour relations, collective bargaining systems, and security standards.
