Role Overview
We are looking for an Assistant Complex Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager to oversee daily operations. In this role, you will coordinate activities for our restaurant, room service, and conferencing departments. You will serve as the second-in-charge and lead the F&B team whenever the Manager is away.
Your work will focus on three main areas: staff supervision, front-of-house service, and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily F&B operations to ensure high standards are met.
- Coordinate functions, conferences, and restaurant service.
- Manage and lead a large team of over 45 staff members.
- Maintain professional communication with both staff and guests.
- Solve problems quickly and stay calm under pressure.
- Handle administrative tasks related to the F&B department.
Requirements
- Education: Matric certificate and a qualification in Hospitality Management.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience as an Assistant F&B Manager. Previous experience in restaurant management is a plus.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of food and wine.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a large team.
- Service: Excellent communication skills and a passion for guest service.
- Personal Traits: Professional appearance, honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
