Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to provide general assistance and support across the site. This is a contract position located in Mpumalanga.

Main Responsibilities

As an Assistant General Worker, your duties will include:

• Working closely with site teams to help meet operational goals.
• Assisting with daily inspections of your work area and reporting any hazards.
• Helping with pipeline and valve operations under supervision.
• Assisting with problem-solving and reporting any operational issues to the site team.
• Performing general site activities and housekeeping to keep the environment clean and safe.
• Following all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Education: A Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent.
• Experience: At least one year of relevant work experience.
• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Personal Attributes: A strong team player, a willingness to learn, and great attention to detail.
• Safety: A high level of safety consciousness.

General Requirements

• Must be physically, mentally, and medically fit for duty.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime when required.
• Must pass a background check, including criminal record screening.
