Role Overview
As the Assistant Golf Director, you will support the Golf Director in maintaining the highest standards of service and quality. Your primary focus will be to enhance the golfing experience through excellent member relations, efficient group management, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Golf Director in managing the overall quality of golf products and services.
- Lead member interactions through club competitions and various activities.
- Manage golf groups to ensure smooth operations.
- Train and upskill staff to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience.
- Maintain a strong focus on detail and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent. A PGA qualification or status as a Professional Golfer is highly preferred. A Club Management Diploma is an advantage.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience working in a 5-star luxury environment.
- Skills: Strong financial and people management skills.
- Knowledge: Specialized knowledge in delivering a world-class golfing experience.
- Attributes: Professional, detail-oriented, and dedicated to exceeding member expectations.
