We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Leader to join our Poetry branch in Brooklyn.
Job Overview
The Assistant Leader supports the store leadership in managing daily operations. Your goal will be to drive sales, lead a motivated team, and ensure every customer has a great experience in our store.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing all daily store operations.
- Help maximize sales turnover and overall profit.
- Monitor stock and implement strategies to reduce shrinkage and loss.
- Deliver excellent customer service and follow the company’s customer experience strategy.
- Lead, coach, and train team members to help them grow and succeed.
- Oversee visual merchandising to ensure the store looks inviting and drives sales.
- Ensure all company policies, procedures, and health and safety practices are followed.
- Create a positive, fun, and inspiring work environment that aligns with our company culture.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 3 years of retail management experience.
- Education: Matric certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff and customers.
- Background: A clear criminal record is essential.
