Assistant Professional Officer (Finance) – 3 Year Contract
The City of Cape Town is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Assistant Professional Officer. This is a three-year contract position focused on providing financial administration and support for our housing projects. Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- A B Tech, National Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in computer systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the administration and financial control processes for specific housing projects.
- Applying business process standards in your role as a developer or accounts administrator for city housing projects.
- Conducting financial evaluations and managing transactions to resolve queries from various stakeholders within the Housing Project Finance Branch.
- Reviewing, compiling, and reconciling HSS funding claim requests to ensure accurate financial reporting.
