The Role
Our retail leadership team is key to providing an exceptional experience for every customer. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with store management to ensure the Mall of Africa branch runs smoothly and reflects our brand values.
What you will do:
- Support the store manager in reaching business goals and executing strategies.
- Make sure the store is inviting, clean, and provides a unique shopping experience.
- Lead and coach sales assistants to provide excellent customer service.
- Share your passion for cooking and entertaining to help customers choose the right products.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure all business procedures are followed correctly.
- Handle operational concerns and help manage stock and administrative tasks.
What we are looking for:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with a premium retail brand.
- Leadership: Previous experience in a store management or supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Comfortable using Point of Sale (POS) and stock management systems.
- Customer Focus: A dedication to providing a high-quality, customer-centered experience.
- Education: Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Business Mindset: A strong understanding of how a retail business operates.
